Super Bowl ads trivia

I happened across some interesting numbers on ESPN.com concerning this year’s Super Bowl.  We know Super Bowl ads are crazy-expensive, but this helps put it in perspective :

$2.6 million: Super Bowl ad cost
30 seconds: Ad length
$40,000: Average annual wage in the U.S.
65: Years’ salary it would take to buy one Super Bowl ad

Here’s another set of numbers that are interesting because they are ironic.  Somebody needs to update the rules…

55 inches: Limit to the size of a TV you can watch the Super Bowl on per federal copyright laws
24: TVs for sale at Best Buy that are 55 inches or larger
