dog-chewed football cards of Michael Vick on eBay

30 08 2007

A woman in Missouri took her 22 football cards of Michael Vick and let her two dogs chew them up.  Then she put them on eBay with plans to give all the proceeds to the local shelter.  This proved to be popular, with 31 people bidding on it, and the final selling price was $7,400.  The money is expected to be donated to the Humane Society.  These chewed-up cards sold for more than any other auctions of his memorabilia, including rookie cards and autographed jerseys.  Very ironic, huh?

Here’s the link to the eBay auction for those cards.  You can see some pictures of them on there.
