remove the devil

In Major League Baseball, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays had finished in last place in their division every year.  But before this year’s season, they changed their name, removing the word “devil”.  Now they are known as the Tampa Bay Rays.  And this year, they won their division and are in the playoffs.

So the moral of the story is, remove the devil and you’ll have more success in life.  🙂

(Granted, their scouting and player development might have had something to do with it, too.  And know that this is a satire post.  But even within the joking about it, there is some truth to the notion of not letting the Devil have any place in your life.  Remove his strongholds in your mind and your life will improve.)
